MRTA executes a safety audit at construction sites of the MRT Pink Line Project: Khae Rai – Min Buri Section along and Ram Inthra Road
Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA), by Safety Occupational Health and Environment Office executed
a safety audit for the MRT Pink Line Project: Khae Rai – Min Buri Section at construction sites
of Ram Inthra Kor Mor 9 Station (PK24),
Outer Ring Road - Ram Inthra Station (PK25), and Nopparat Station (PK26) for inspecting compliance with safety measures and equipment
availability. MRTA places importance on construction
safety standard, especially working at height and enclosing construction site
for public safety during the project construction period. Hence,
MRTA instructed the workers to adhere strictly to the safety standards in
according to MRTA Safety Declaration: Zero Fatal Accident,
and also instructed to increase the frequency of water spraying vehicles
operation and installation of water spray in the construction area to reduce PM
2.5 for mitigating on environmental impacts. Besides, the workers
were instructed to work adhere strictly to D-M-H-T-T.....
MRTA carries out annual basic firefighting training and fire and earthquake evacuation drills 2023
On March 30, 2023, Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand or MRTA carried out annual basic firefighting training and fire and earthquake evacuation drills 2023 by setting a stimulated real fire situation and earthquake situation where the staff who were in the evacuation team could proceed to handle the situation following the emergency plan. MRTA conducts the basic firefighting training and fire and earthquake evacuation drills at least once a year to prepare executives, officers, and employees for handling the real emergency case effectively.

MRTA welcomes the delegation of Department of Foreign Trade to a study visit on the Official Information Center of MRTA Mr. Tanom Rattanasate, Assistant Governor of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA), on behalf of MRTA welcomed Miss Monta Panthong, Department Secretary of Department of Foreign Trade and officers of Department of Foreign Trade to a study visit on the Official Information Center of MRTA, which received the plaque of honor of Outstanding Official Information Center Award for the 4th consecutive years, from 2019 – 2022.On this occasion, MRTA presented an overview of the center's operations and exchanged knowledge and information between the organizations. The knowledge and information such as guidelines for compliance with the Official Information Act, B.E. 2540, service management, etc., were exchanged in order to apply to operation or use as a guideline for developing the information center of each organization as well as providing convenience to the.....

MRTA joins the MRT Orange Line Project: Thailand Cultural Centre – Min Buri (Suwinthawong) Section to mitigate PM 2.5
Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) as the organization responsible for the construction of the MRT Orange Line Project: Thailand Cultural Centre – Min Buri (Suwinthawong) Section inspected contractors’ compliance with measures on reduction of PM 2.5. MRTA assigned contractors of all civil works contracts to install water spray system, daily clean the road along the project by vacuum trucks for reducing the impact of PM 2.5, and strictly adhere to the dust emission measures as defined in EIA such as cleaning road on daily basis, cleaning vehicle wheels before leaving the construction site, inspecting machines/truck, and asking cooperation of contractors to halt construction activity generating dust. The construction of the MRT Orange Line Project is implementing as planned in order to reinstate public roads as soon as possible for improving traffic flow that is one of the solution for sustainably reducing air pollution in Bangkok.....
MRTA welcomes Secretary General of Ministry of Transport Malaysia and accompanying delegation for working visit to MRTA
On August 15, 2022, Mr. Pakapong sirikantaramas, Governer of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) welcomed H.E. Datuk Isham Ishak, Secretary General of Ministry of Transport Malaysia and accompanying delegation to pay a working visit to MRT projects implementation and MRT service operation of MRTA at Conference Room 1, 9th floor, MRTA. On this occasion, MRTA gave a presentation of MRTA’s overall MRT project implementation in Bangkok Metropolitan Region and led the group to visit the MRT operation in Operation Control Centre and Depot of the M.R.T. Chaloem Ratchamongkhon Line, which is the main MRT line of the country in supporting travel and economic because the line covers the inner Bangkok area and passes numerous historical sites of Thailand.
