The Cabinet meeting on December 4th, 2018
acknowledged the Commission for the Management of Land Traffic’s
resolution in the 2/2018 meeting on October 17th, 2018, to include the MRT
Pink Line Extension (Spur Line) Project; Si Rat - Muang Thong Thani section, in
the Mass Rapid Transit Master Plan (M-MAP).
The MRT Pink Line Extension was designed as a minor
mass transit system (Feeder) in terms of the elevated straddle
monorail.
Connected to the MRT Pink Line at the Muang Thong
Thani Station (PK10) and run along the Chaeng Wattana - Pak Kret 39 road
to end at the lake in the Muang Thong Thani zone; the length of this
alignment is approximately 3 kilometers.
There are two stations; the 1st station is the Impact Muang Thong Thani (MT01), and the 2nd station is the Lake Muang Thong Thani (MT02).
The MRT Pink Line
extension shares the same depot with the MRT Pink Line Project, Khae Rai - Min Buri.
