MRTA launches the service of Robot Parking at Phetchaburi Station on the MRT Blue Line

Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) launched
the service of 2 Robot Parking machines at Phetchaburi Station on the M.R.T. Chaloem
Ratchamongkhon Line (MRT Blue Line) to
add another 32 parking spaces in the parking lot at Phetchaburi Station to be a
total of 54 parking spaces. The
parking fare is same as regular rates, 15 Baht per 2 hours for MRT passenger, 50 Baht per hour
for non-MRT passenger, and 2,000 Baht for monthly parking. The parking
lot at Phetchaburi Station is the 3rd parking
lot of MRTA where have the Robot Parking after Sam Yan Station (1
machine) and Huai Kwang Station (3
machines).
MRTA
has created a project to increase parking space along the MRT Blue Line by
using the robot parking system technology for increasing the number of parking
spaces and optimal space utilization along with providing
convenience to service users.
MRTA executes day audit and night audit at construction sites of the MRT Purple Line Project: Tao Pun – Rat Burana (Kanchanapisek Road) Section

by Safety Occupational Health and Environment Office executed safety audit for
the MRT Purple Line Project: Tao Pun – Rat
Burana (Kanchanapisek Road) Section,
including day audit at construction sites of cut and cover tunnel, Bang Khun
Phrom Station, Wongwian Yai Station, Bang Pakok Station, and Rat Burana
Station, and night audit at construction sites of Vajira
Hospital Station and National Library Station for
inspecting fence tarp, lighting, warning light, material and equipment fixing,
and installation of road diversion and warning signs along the route to ensure
that they are neat, stable, locate on safe position, and visible, for road user
safety and preventing road accident at night. Besides, MRTA
assigned the civil works contractors to monitor and to adhere to flood
prevention measures in their construction site areas to
provide convenience and safety to the people during the rainy season, in order
to carry out.....
MRTA holds an activity “Now for the future 2023” under Green Office Project
On
September, 26, 2023, Miss Jirata Wattanapradit, Director of Office of Corporate
Communications of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) presided over an activity “Now for the
future 2023” at Meeting Room 2, 9th floor,
Building 1, MRTA. The activity was organized to display the
results of the Green Office Project 2023 and to disseminate the results of the experimental
project on waste management within MRTA office building by a group of
representatives from the Green Office Hero Batch 2.
MRTA and Romsai Rescue Foundation sign MOU for disaster prevention and mitigation
On
October 2, 2023, Mr. Pakapong Sirikantaramas, Governor of
Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) and Mr. Vicharn Minchainant, President of
Romsai Rescue Foundation signed MOU between MRTA and Romsai Rescue Foundation for
disaster prevention and mitigation at Meeting Room 1, 9th floor,
Building 1, MRTA.
The purpose of this MOU is to support and integrate
the implementation on disaster prevention and mitigation in MRTA’s
mass rapid transit system area. Romsai Rescue Foundation
which carries out rescue service duties in the areas along 2 MRTA’s
MRT line including the MRT Orange Line Project: Thailand
Cultural Centre – Min Buri (Suwinthawong) Section and the MRT Pink Line Project: Khae
Rai – Min Buri Section is willing to provide
support on disaster prevention and mitigation and participate in operations to provide assistance and
alleviate suffering to victims in the MRTA’s mass rapid
transit system area and MRTA is pleased to support knowledge and.....

MRTA participates in organizing the exhibition “Safety in using the monorail and the assistance of rescuers in the event of an emergency” in the event “One Heart, One Power of Thai Volunteer Rescuers”

Punmongkol, Deputy Governor (Operations)
of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA), led the team of MRTA rescue and right of way officers to
participate in the 5th national conference on
emergency medical for non-profit organizations, which was
organized by Romsai Rescue Foundation and presided over by Mr. Wan
Muhamad Noor Matha, President of the National Assembly, at Kasem Bundit
University Romklao Campus, Bangkok.
On this occasion,
the Security and Rescue Department of MRTA organized an exhibition on “Safety in using the monorail and the assistance of rescuers in
the event of an emergency” to provide knowledge and
exchange experiences for attendees which consists of government agencies and
private non-profit organizations working in emergency
medical, rescue, disaster prevention and mitigation, including the general
public who are interested.
MRTA receives Certificate of ESG Verified Enterprise: Silver Level
Mass Rapid Transit
Authority of Thailand (MRTA) was
assessed on Environment Social Governance: ESG
and received “ESG Verified Enterprise: Silver
Level” from ESG Rating Company Limited, Thaipat Institute. The award reflects the performance of the MRTA in supervising
and developing the mass rapid transit system network efficiently,
with the principles of good governance, innovation, and consideration of the
stakeholders and the impact on the environment.
MRTA will use the
results of this assessment for planning, developing, and
raising the level of operations on ESG to build confidence
among stakeholders, promote organizational sustainability development, and is
accepted internationally.
MRTA give a lecture in Asia EV Technology Summit Thailand 2023
Mr. Vithaya
Punmongkol, Deputy Governor (Operations)
of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA), as the representative of MRTA, gave a lecture in Asia EV
Technology Summit Thailand 2023 on the topic
“Connecting to the Future Through MRTA Mobility” at
Golden Tulip Sovereign Hotel Bangkok. The topic is about
MRT system network, park and ride facilities, and strategic policy on
sustainable development of MRTA, involving in aspects of economy, social, and
environment, comply with the Smart City principle
on promoting EV using such as EV Charging Station at MRTA
park and ride facilities.
