MRTA executes day audit and night audit at construction sites of the MRT Purple Line Project: Tao Pun – Rat Burana (Kanchanapisek Road) Section

Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA),
by Safety Occupational Health and Environment Office executed safety audit for
the MRT Purple Line Project: Tao Pun – Rat
Burana (Kanchanapisek Road) Section,
including day audit at construction sites of cut and cover tunnel, Bang Khun
Phrom Station, Wongwian Yai Station, Bang Pakok Station, and Rat Burana
Station, and night audit at construction sites of Vajira
Hospital Station and National Library Station for
inspecting fence tarp, lighting, warning light, material and equipment fixing,
and installation of road diversion and warning signs along the route to ensure
that they are neat, stable, locate on safe position, and visible, for road user
safety and preventing road accident at night. Besides, MRTA
assigned the civil works contractors to monitor and to adhere to flood
prevention measures in their construction site areas to
provide convenience and safety to the people during the rainy season, in order
to carry out the construction of the Purple Line Project smoothly, in according
to MRTA Safety Declaration: Zero Fatal Accident,
preventing damage for workers and road users.
