MRTA and Defence Technology Institute sign an MOU on developing knowledge and creating innovations in security in the MRT system

June 10, 2024, Mr. Vithaya Punmongkol, Deputy Governor (Operations) and Acting Governor of Mass
Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) and
Gp.Capt. Komson Prapunkarn, Deputy
Director of Defence Technology Institute and Acting Director of Defence
Technology Institute signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in
research and development of knowledge and innovation in security
and order maintenance in the mass rapid transit system at
Defence Technology Institute. The signing ceremony was
presided by Gen. Porpol Maneerin, Chairman of Defence
Technology Institute.
Mr. Vithaya
Punmongkol, Deputy Governor (Operations) and
Acting Governor of MRTA said that “Currently, 4 MRT lines
under MRTA’s responsibility are open for service namely
the M.R.T. Chaloem
Ratchamongkhon Line (MRT Blue Line),
the M.R.T. Chalong
Ratchadham Line (MRT Purple Line),
the M.R.T. Nakkhara
Phiphat Line (MRT Yellow Line), and
the MRT Pink Line: Khae Rai – Min
Buri.....
MRTA attends the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Cooperation on SOOK ASOK
On
April 3, 2024, Miss Jiranan Vorachak, Assistant Governor of Mass Rapid Transit
Authority of Thailand (MRTA), on
behalf of MRTA, participated in the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of
Cooperation on SOOK ASOK and received the certificate of appreciation for
supporting SOOK ASOK network, from Mr. Chadchart
Sittipunt, Governor of Bangkok at Asok-Montri Music and
Performing Arts Hall, Floor 4, Prof. Dr. Saroj
Buasri Innovation Building, Srinakharinwirot University.
SOOK
ASOK is a grouping of government and private sector organizations which are
located in Asoke area, initiated by Srinakharinwirot University and Kiatnakin
Phatra Financial Business Group, to work together to develop Asoke area to be
livable in 4 areas: way of life, transport, activity, and
environment, through operations to promote, support and integrate resources in
the form of plans/projects/activities
to develop Asoke area to be livable and enhance quality of life of people.
MRTA receives Data Governance award in Digital Governance Award 2023
On December 6, 2023, Mr. Sarot
T.Suwan, Deputy Governor (Strategy
and Planning) of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA), on behalf of MRTA, received Data
Governance award in Digital Governance Award 2023 which was organized by Digital Government Development Agency (Public
Organization) (DGA) at Santi Maitree
Building, Government House. The awarding ceremony was
presided over by Mrs. Puangpet Chunlaiad, Minister
Attached to the Prime Minister's Office, as assigned by Mr. Srettha
Thavisin, the Prime Minister and Minister of Finance. The
awards are given to government agencies that has improved
the organization to become a high level digital government for being a model
for other government agencies.
MRTA receives a Platinum Class Award under the “Zero Accident Campaign 2023” for the 3rd Year
Mass Rapid Transit
Authority of Thailand (MRTA) won the
platinum class plaque of honor under the “Zero
Accident Campaign 2023”, which was held by
Thailand Institute of Occupational Safety and
Health (Public Organization) (TOSH), Ministry of Labor. Mr. Tanom
Rattanasate, MRTA Assistant Governor, on behalf of MRTA was handed over the
award in the awarding ceremony.
TOSH gives the award to organizations which have
intention in preventing work-related accidents or reducing
statistics of the work-related accidents to be zero.
MRTA signs MOU for cooperation on powering corporate governance
Mr. Sarot T.Suwan,
Deputy Governor (Strategy and Planning)
of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand, on behalf of MRTA participated in
the Signing Ceremony of the Memorandum of Understand
for Cooperation on Powering Corporate Governance between National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC), State Enterprise Policy Office, The
Securities and Exchange Commission, Thai Institute of Directors, and state enterprises, at Nonthaburi 1 Room, 3rd
Floor, Building 4, NACC.
MRTA
participated in the MOU signing ceremony to express an intension to promote,
support, and cooperate for driving the Anti-Corruption
Master Plan and elevating corporate governance in state enterprises and
contract partners of the state enterprises, as well as integrating and
coordinating to resist any form of corruption among the state enterprises.
MRTA receives plaque and certification mark of Government Easy Contact Center: GECC, Fundamental Level
Mr. Tanom Rattanasate, Assistant Governor of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA), on behalf of MRTA received plaque and certification mark of Government Easy Contact Center: GECC, Fundamental Level, from Office of the Permanent Secretary, the Prime Minister's Office. Mr. Anucha Nakasai, Minister Attached to the Prime Minister's Office presided over the award ceremony and presented the awards to agencies meeting standard of Government Easy Contact Center: GECC, at Vayupak Grand Ballroom, 4th floor, Centra by Centara Government Complex Hotel & Convention Centre Chaeng Watthana, Bangkok. The award ceremony was held by the Prime Minister's Office.
