Birthday Merit-making event in April 2016
Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) organized a Birthday Merit-making event for MRTA employees born in April on Friday 29th April 2016. The event included donating money to Home for children with disability Pakkred (Nontapum House) and making merit at Borom Raja Kanchanapisek Anusorn Temple (Leng Noei Yi 2) in Nonthaburi Province.

MRTA organized an internal event celebrating Songkran festival 2016 Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) organized an internal event celebrating Songkran festival 2016 on Friday 8th April 2016 in Meeting Room 2 on 9th floor, Building 1, MRTA head office, where Mr.Peerayudh Singpatanakul, MRTA Governor presided over the event and General Yodyuth Boonyatikarn, MRTA Chairman honorably attended the ceremony. The event includes offering rice and dried food to 9 Buddhist monks from Thep Leela temple, pouring water to Buddha images and pouring water to MRTA chairman and Governor. It was well-organized and all MRTA employees were blessed for this Thai New year celebration.
The fire prevention project of 2016 (MRT Green Line project Bearing-Samut Prakan)
The fire prevention project of 2016 (MRT Green Line project Bearing-Samut Prakan) Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) organized a project on fire prevention of 2016 starting with Yuli and Kantasiri Communities, which are near Royal Thai Naval Academy station, MRT Green Line Project Bearing-Samut Prakan on Saturday 30th April 2016. This project was held to train people on the self-use of fire extinguishers to prevent spread of fire in the communities along the route of MRT Green Line Project Bearing-Samut Prakan and Mo chit-Saphan Mai-Kukot. A total of 20 communities were trained during the project.
2nd Blood Donation Activity 2016
Activity Report : 2nd Blood Donation Activity 2016 Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) and National Blood Centre, Thai Red Cross Society organized 2nd Blood Donation activity 2016 on Tuesday 10th May 2016 at Center Hall on 1st floor, Building 1, MRTA head office, where a total of 130 MRTA employees joined this activity by donating blood. The activity was in collaboration between MRTA and Thai Red Cross Society to enhance the efficiency of securing sufficient blood supplies for nationwide demand. This activity will be held every 3 months.
MRTA 7th flea market 2016
Activity Report : MRTA 7th flea market 2016 Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) organized MRTA 7th flea market 2016 on Friday 13th May 2016 from 11.30 AM to 01.00 PM at Center Hall on 1st floor, Building 1, MRTA head office, where 10 of MRTA employees’ shops sold various goods such as food, beverage and cosmetics etc. The flea market was held monthly to enhance friendship between MRTA employees and also to help them increase their revenue and to provide a convenient place for shopping.
MRTA CSR activity at Wannawit School
Activity Report : MRTA CSR activity at Wannawit School Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) organized CSR Activity at Wannawit School, Bangkok on Thursday 19th May 2016. The activity participated by 30 MRTA officers included improving garden, improving library, improving sport ground and donating sports equipments, books and occupational health equipments (facial masks and hand gels), totally cost 191,928 baht. Furthermore, Ms.Sirithida Thammakul, Director of Office of the Governor gave the money from selling 23rd MRTA polo shirt about 15,000 baht to Ms.Pissamai Chuen-angkul, Director of Wannawit School for student’s lunch cost.
MRTA participated in ordainment project at Praram 9 Kanchanaphisek Temple
MRTA participated in ordainment project at Praram 9 Kanchanaphisek Temple Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) sent an officer participating in ordainment project to honor the 70th coronation anniversary of King Rama VIIII on 9 June 2016 and Queen Sirikit 82nd birthday on 12 August 2016. The ordainment was held on Saturday 28 May 2016 at Praram 9 Kanchanapisek Temple Bangkok, where the total numbers of 89 participants were ordained as Budhist monk in this project, which was the collaboration between Office of the Permanent Secretary, Prime Minister Office and Praram 9 Kanchanapisek Temple.

3rd Relaxing Massage Activity 2016 Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) organized 3rd relaxing massage activity 2016 for MRTA Officers following Happy Work Place Project’s plan on Wednesday 25th May 2016 at Exhibition room, 1st floor, MRTA Building 1 . The massagists in the activity where 50 of MRTA officers participated in came from Thailand Caulfield Foundation for the Blinds under the Royal Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. The activity was held in order to make MTRA officers feel relaxed from working and to help the blinds increase their revenue.
PMOC visited MRTA Purple line project Bang Yai-Bang Sue
Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) greeted a total of 30 Prime Minister Operation Center (PMOC) officers visiting MRTA Purple Line Project Bang Yai-Bang Sue on Monday 16th May 2016 from 02.00 PM to 03.30 PM at Tao Poon Station and Khlong Bang Phai depot. The visit was held in order to acknowledge the progress of the project.

MRTA lay the flower wreath at King RAMA VIII’s monument Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) laid the flower wreath at King Rama VIII’s monument on Thursday 9 June 2016 at Suthat Thep Wararam Temple to commemorate the death of King Rama VIII. Furthermore, MRTA donated money about 4,000 baht to Atthama Ratchanusorn Foundation Under Patronage H.M. to give a royal charity to King Rama VIII.

The 5th fire prevention project 2016 (MRT Green Line project Bearing-Samut Prakan) Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) organized the 5th fire prevention activity of 2016 for communities along the route of MRT Green Line project Bearing-Samut Prakan. The activities were held on Saturday 11th June 2016 for Supakorn Community and Bang Duan Village No.8 Community where MRTA Security and Rescue Department officers trained people in communities on the self-use of fire extinguishers. This activity is the last fire prevention activities of 2016, where a total number of 10 communities were trained.

Teachers and students from Chulalongkorn University Demonstration School visit MRTA Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) greeted the total number of 20 teachers and students from Chulalongkorn University Demonstration School visiting MRTA on a field trip at M.R.T. Chaloem Ratchamongkhon Line’s depot on Thursday 23rd June 2016 at 10.00-12.00 A.M., where Bangkok Expressway and Metro PLC (BEM)’s officer was a lecturer.
