MRTA holds a mass ordination ceremony for novice monks to honor King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun on the occasion of HM coronation ceremony at Praram 9 Kanchanaphisek Temple      Mr. Pakapong Sirikantaramas, Governor of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) presided over mass ordination ceremony for novice monks to honor King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun on the occasion of HM coronation ceremony where MRTA executives and employees joined in the ordination ceremony and Phradhammabandit, Abbot of Praram 9 Kanchanaphisek Temple presided over the Buddhist ceremony at Praram 9 Kanchanapisek temple on Thursday 11th April 2019.     The ordination project was held in order to honor King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun on the occasion of HM coronation ceremony and to support Buddhist study. Therefore, 68 children participated in this project included MRTA’s children and others. The participants have been ordained to be novice monks between 11th April – 8th May 2019.
MRTA organize Songkran activity 2019      Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) organized Songkran activity 2019 paying homage to Brahma shrine, guardian spirit, King Rama V, King Rama IX and King Rama X’s portraits and organizing Buddhist ceremony on Tuesday 9th April 2019 at MRTA head office. The activity was attended by Mr. Pakapong Sirikantaramas, MRTA Governor and MRTA executives and employees.     Therefore, MRTA organized watering ceremony to governor and deputy governors to strengthen Thai ceremony and boost morale among officers. MRTA also organized Thai clothes dressing contest in 4 Regions of Thailand Theme to encourage wearing Thai clothes where 740 officers joined in the activity.
MRTA welcomes Children from Tanyong Municipality, Pattani Province to visit and ride M.R.T. Chaloem Ratchamongkhon line Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) welcomed 44 children from Tanyong Municipality, Pattani Province to visit and ride M.R.T. Chaloem Ratchamongkhon line from Chatuchak Park station to Phetchaburi station on Friday 5th April 2019.
MRTA flea market of April 2019      Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) organized MRTA flea market of April 2019 at the walkways beside cafeteria, building 1, MRTA on Friday 5th April 2019 from 11.30 AM to 01.00 PM where there were 7 MRTA officers’ shops selling various goods such as foods, beverage and house wares etc. Moreover, there was the lucky draw for customers.     The flea market was held monthly in order to enhance friendship between MRTA employees and to help them increasing revenue.
MRTA congratulates MOT on 107th establishment anniversary Mr. Pakapong Sirikantaramas, Governor of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) congratulated Ministry of Transportation (MOT) on 107th anniversary on Monday 1st April 2019 at clubhouse and auditorium, MOT where Mr. Arkhom Termpittayapaisith, Minister of Transport presided over the event. In this regard, MRTA contributed to Mr. Chaiwat Thong-Kamkoon, Permanent Secretary for Transport on behalf of Office of the Permanent Secretary welfare fund.

MRTA market 2019      Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) organized “MRTA Market 2019” bring OTOP shop from Pathum Thani Province such as boat noodle, giant Youtiao, herbal drinks and other products to sell their products on Monday 25th February – Friday 1st March 2019 at the area in front of park and ride building, Thailand Culture Center station. In this regard, there was an opening ceremony on Monday 25th February 2019 where Mr. Vithaya Punmongkol, Assistant Governor acting Deputy Governor (Operations) presided over the ceremony and MRTA executives, Pathum Thani’s community development group and Bangkok Expressway and Metro PLC joined in the event.      The activity was held in order to promote career and products from communities along the route of MRT Green Line (North) project Mo Chit - Saphan Mai- Khu Khot section and to strengthen relationship between MRTA and communities.

MRTA joins in 43rd State Enterprises Games            Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) sent MRTA athletes to join in 43rd States Enterprises Games (2019) where MRTA participated in 7 sports including badminton, basketball, football, futsal, golf, cycling and track and field between Monday 11th – Friday 22nd February 2019.The result of the MRTA’s competition summarize as follows1. Badminton received 2 medals including silver medal from men doubles (80 years old up) from Mr. Punpong Limsiriwong, Mr. Jiradet Pannak from Security and Rescue Department and Mr. Anawin Jantaruthai from Business Development Department and bronze medal from mix doubles (80 years old up) from Mr. Pongsatorn Namuenhong from Security and Rescue Department, Mrs. Napatchanan Sittiwong and Miss Apapong Makaranant from Audit Office.2.
