MRTA inspects construction sites of the MRT Purple Line Project: Tao Pun – Rat Burana (Kanchanapisek Road) Section

Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA), by Environment Division, MRT Project Development Department executed a day audit to inspect the compliance with mitigation measures on environmental impacts in construction sites of the MRT Purple Line Project: Tao Pun Rat Burana (Kanchanapisek Road) Section from the site of cut and cover tunnel on Tahan Road, mainline construction sites on Samsen Road, Phra Sumen Road, Maha Chai Road, Chakphet Road, Prajadhipok Road, Somdet Phrachao Taksin Road, and Suksawat Road, and the site of stabling yard adjacent to Bang Khru 3 Toll Plaza of Kanchanaphisek Expressway (Bang Phli - Suksawat).

MRTA inspected the compliance with mitigation measures on environmental impacts as defined in EIA report such as installing fence around the construction site, spraying water prevents dust from spreading, covering material while waiting to use or move, washing vehicle wheels before leave the site, installing public relations signs and traffic signs, etc., and instructed all staff to strictly comply with measures to reduce environmental impacts.
