Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) as the agency responsible for the construction of the MRT Purple Line Project: Tao Pun – Rat Burana (Kanchanapisek Road) Section assigned the civil works contractors to dredge drainpipes and ditches along the project route continuously on a monthly basis to avoid clogged pipe problem and increase the efficiency of the drainage system in the construction site areas from Samsen Road, Phra Sumen Road, Maha Chai Road, Prajadhipok Road, Somdet Phrachao Taksin Road, Suksawat Road and Kru Nai area.

MRTA emphasized the monitoring high risk flood area during rainy season and preparing staff and water pumps for assisting people in accordance with the social responsibility policy in giving importance to people and communities along the MRT lines that may be affected by its construction operations.
