On February 23, 2024, Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand or MRTA carried out annual basic firefighting training and fire and earthquake evacuation drills 2024 by setting a stimulated real fire situation and earthquake situation where the staff who were in the evacuation team could proceed to handle the situation following the emergency plan. MRTA conducts the basic firefighting training and fire and earthquake evacuation drills at least once a year to prepare executives, officers, and employees for handling the real emergency case effectively.
