Mr. Pattanaphong Phongsupatsamit, Deputy Governor (Administration) of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) welcomed a delegation of executives and staff of Mobility as a Service (MaaS) Business Promotion Office from Nippon Travel Agency Co., Ltd. (subsidiary of JR West Japan Railway Company), led by Mr. Hideyuki Akiyama, Director of Overseas Travel Department and Head of Mobility as a Service (MaaS) Business Promotion Office, on their visit to MRTA and attending a presentation.

On this occasion, MRTA presented information of MRTA’s overall MRT project implementation in Bangkok Metropolitan Region, transportations in Bangkok Metropolitan Region, greenhouse gas mitigation by mass rapid transit, and strategic plan and trend of MRTA. They also exchanged knowledge on feasibility of Mobility as a Service (MaaS), in order to promote tourism between Thailand and Japan.
