Mr. Srettha Thavisin, Prime Minister, participates in the trial run of the MRT Pink Line, to ensure readiness of providing the public trial run along the whole 30 station-line from Khae Rai to Min Buri from 3.00 p.m., 21 November 2023 onwards

On November 21, 2023, Mr. Srettha Thavisin, Prime Minister, inspected the operation control center and participated in a trial run of the MRT Pink Line Project: Khae Rai - Min Buri Section, welcomed by Mrs. Puangpet Chunlaiad, Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office; Mr. Suriya Juangroongruangkit, Minister of Transport; Mr. Surapong Piyachote, Deputy Minister of Transport; Mrs. Manaporn Charoensri, Deputy Minister of Transport; Dr. Prommin Lertsuridej Secretary-General to the Prime Minister; Mr. Chayatan Phromsorn, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Transport, Mr. Sorapong Paitoonphong, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Transport (Chief of Transportation Group); Mr. Pichet kunathamaraks Director-General of the Department of Rail Transport; Mr. Pakapong Sirikantaramas, Governor of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA); and Mr. Keeree Kanjanapas, Chairman of the Board of Northern Bangkok Monorail Company Limited. The trial run from Min Buri Station (PK30) to Wat Phra Si Mahathat Station (PK16) was work smoothly. On the same day, from 3.00 p.m. onwards, the entire 30 station-line was available for public to ride the trial run for free of charge and from November 22, 2023, the trial run would open daily between 6.00 a.m. – 8.00 p.m. until the line is ready to extend the trial service period accordingly.
