Mr. Vithaya Punmongkol, Deputy governor (Operations) of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) welcomed Gen. Singsuk Singpai, The Fist Vice President of the Senate, Gen. Yodyuth Boonyatikarn, the Chairman of the Senate Standing Committee on Transportation, and the committee members to pay a study visit on the MRT Yellow Line: Lat Phrao – Samrong Section at the depot of the MRT Yellow Line.

On this occasion, MRTA presented an overview of the implementation and obstacles to opening the service of th MRT Yellow Line. Later, the group was taken to ride the MRT train from Sri Iam Station (YL17) to Lat Phrao Station (YL01) to visit the commercial development at the Park and Ride Building at Lat Phrao Station of the M.R.T. Chaloem Ratchamongkhon Line. The location is the potential commercial area which can facilitate passengers who transfer between the 2 lines and the park and ride users because there are many shops and facilities which meet the life style of the customers.
