MRTA promotes income of communities along the route of MRT Project organizing MRT Market for local products
15 January 2563Mr. Surachet Laophulsuk, Deputy Governor (Engineering and Construction) of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) presided over the opening ceremony of MRTA Market where representatives from Min Buri district, Khan Na Yao district and Mr. Chaiwat Chanpong, Assistant Managing Director from Bangkok Expressway and Metro PLC (BEM) attended the ceremony on Monday 24th February 2020. MRTA Market was held in order to increase income for communities along the route of MRT Projects and to strengthen relationship between MRTA, communities and stakeholders.
Therefore, MRTA coordinated with Min Buri district and Khan Na Yao district to bring local products from 25 shops along the route of MRT Orange Line Project (East): Thailand Cultural Center – Min Buri such as Thai foods, herbs, house wares and etc. to sell at MRT Market between 24th – 28th February 2020 at 8.00 A.M. – 08.00 P.M. at the area in front of park & ride building, MRT Thailand Cultural Centre station, exit 2.
