Sufficient Economy Philosophy Learning activity at Hom Chuen House, Pathum Thani Province

           Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) organized Sufficient Economy Philosophy Learning activity leading 150 students from Watchatkaew Jongkolnee school, Watthapra School and Watrachasittharam school which were the schools along the route of M.R.T. Blue line Project: Hua Lamphong - Bang Khae and Bang Sue - Tha Phra sections to learn traditional Thai rice farmer’s lifestyle at Hom Chuen House, Lat Lum Kaeo District, Pathum Thani Province on Monday 19th September 2016. In morning section, students were taught to make paddy into rice by traditional methods before doing adventure activities; collecting eggs, climbing trees, riding buffalo, rowing boats and riding tractor. After that in afternoon section, students were taught about buffaloes, rice farming and transplanting rice seeds in the field before going back to school.

           The activity was held for youths living in Bangkok to experience Thai farmers way of life holding to sufficient economy philosophy.
